"My professors at Jacksonville University made all the difference in my chosen career path and the person I have become. Instead of treating my psychology major as a limiting principle, they treated it as a foundation for further exploration. As a result, I was able to step outside my comfort zone and find the confidence to purse things outside of the initial plan I had envisioned for undergrad. This led me to study abroad in Florence, Italy, accept a research assistant position, and apply to law school. Four years later, I can now say I’m a Georgetown University Law Center graduate and have accepted an associate position at large law firm in New York City. That would have never happened without the support of my professors because not only did they encourage me to dream big – they gave me the license to believe in myself."
